The PolyBrute's arpeggiator takes the chord you hold and plays it one note at a time. One button starts it, Hold keeps it going, and three more controls shape it.

The short answer

Press ARP and hold a chord. It plays your notes one at a time.

Four steps

  1. Press ARP, then hold a few keys. Press Hold and it keeps going after you let go.

  2. Tap Play Mode to change the order: up, down, up and back, and more.

  3. Turn Rate to set the tempo.

  4. Turn Gate to make each note shorter or longer.

Hold a chord. Let it run.

Good to know

If nothing plays when you hold a chord, look at Settings / Sync and set it to Auto. If the patch has a slow attack, bring the Attack sliders on VCA ENV and VCF ENV down.
